HORIBA Medical produces 7,500 instruments per year and more than 6,500 tonnes of reagents. With the new reagent plant opened in Montpellier in 2008, production capacity now exceeds 13,000 tonnes.

HORIBA Medical signed a research collaboration contract with IRB in February 2011 in order to improve the diagnostic techniques for haematologic malignancies such as leukaemia or myeloma.


The research will be conducted in a joint laboratory at the very heart of this institute, located in the grounds of the Saint Eloi Hospital.


This new entity will strengthen the scientific and industrial excellence of the Languedoc-Roussillon Region in the field of in vitro diagnostics.
